Vince Vaughnis just a little bitter at his lack of invite toLiam Hemsworth‘s wedding.

The actor, 48, made an appearance at the G’Day USA Gala over the weekend to present Hemsworth, 29, with an award. The two recently filmed the movieArkansastogether, which comes out in 2020. On set, Vaughn said he felt they formed a “mateship.” Unfortunately he doubts how close they actually are after not getting an invite to Hemsworth’s surprise wedding toMiley Cyrus.

“I think it’s a little in doubt because obviously we’re not that great of a mateship because I wasn’t invited to the wedding,” Vaughn said. “I don’t know, it may or may not have happened. I don’t know if it happened, there was a wedding, there wasn’t a wedding?”

Vaughn continued on, highlight some of Hemsworth’s most notable roles, including the one where he met his future wife.

“His first leading role was in 2010,The Last Song, which got him a Teen Choice award,” Vaughn said. “That’s also where he met Miley, who he might or might not be married to. I wouldn’t know personally because I was not invited to this thing, it may not have happened. I’m just the guy who gave up his Saturday night to be away from his kids, to come down here and give Liam an award.”

Hemsworth then took the stage after Vaughn’s speech, where he sweetly gave Cyrus a shoutout. The event served as the pair’s public debut as a married couple.

“Thank you to my beautiful wife,” Hemsworth said near the end of his speech, prompting the audience to burst into loud applause.

He playfully added, “Yeah, I’ll tell you later.”
