Fox, who recently released her new memoirDown the Drain, has an affinity for all that is avant garde fashion. Her latest shocking look included a dark burgundy knee-length fur coat with a red corsetted leather dress that includes five diagonal strips of leather.
However, the leather below her waist was placed strategically to cover different parts of her body, creating the illusion of a striped dress that is really a crafted cylinder-like structure.
TheUncut Gemsstar paired the disassembled dress with matching burgundy pointed-toe pumps. She deviated from her typical dark winged eyeliner and wore a light soft glam makeup look that included a glossy taupe lip and a variety of light eye shadows. Her hair was parted in the middle, styled with curled ringlets sweeping across her shoulders.
Room To Grow’s 25th anniversary gala celebrated donors and ambassadors of the organization who work to assist “families living in low-income circumstances raising young ones in New York and Boston,” per the organization’ssite. The organization recently announced it is working beyond the Big Apple.
Fox attended the gala as an anniversary ambassador, alongsideMolly Bernard,Elaine Welteroth,Matthew Morrison,Aja Naomi King,Kelly Osbourneand many more.

Fox’s latest fashion moment comes after the Oct. 10 debut of her memoir, in which she wrote about her childhood in the city, from learning to shoplift to forming a heroin habit in her teens. As well as what it was like to lose her best friend to an overdose, and how becoming a mother to Valentino, 2, changed her.
She did not explicitly discuss her relationship with rapperKanye West, whom she only describes in the book as “the artist.”
Ahead of the book release, she toldThe New York Timesthat West’s appearance in her book is “like six pages."
“I feel like I went very lightly on it. I’m not trying to have bad blood or anything, it’s all in the past,” Fox told theTimes. “I feel like I did a good job at disguising people as much as I could, but obviously people will know. If anyone does get upset, I’m going to be very quick to remind them: ‘I went easy on you. I could have done more damage.’ "
