Rumor has it that ATI will be announcing their answer to Nvidia ’s MXM laptop videocard specification with a standard of their own called ‘ Axiom , ’ which they may officially announce as soon as next week . While modular videocard options for laptops is a Good Thing , it ’s almost certain that the MXM and Axiom will not be interoperable , meaning you ’ll still be stuck with one vendor in your upgrade path .
That picture is totally not real , but it amused me to conceive of tiny fans mounted to tiny TV card .
