Conservationists , administration official , and local community member are banding together to pull off a rescue of eight Giraffa camelopardalis strand on a shrink island in Kenya . The population of Giraffa camelopardalis in Africa has been declining over the past few decades , due to habitat loss and poaching . But some subspecies of the majestically grandiloquent creature are in more close at hand danger than others . One of the most threatened population is the Rothschild ’s giraffe .
