Runner up : Speaking of depressurization deaths , Graeme really want me to let in Cally ’s demise from Battlestar Galactica . But I did n’t really think her death was amazing . I ’m not putting the pointy - eared green blooded Vulcan first just because I sleep together I ’d get lynch otherwise . But it ’s woven into the rest of the picture , and the motion picture ’s running musical theme of the “ no - win situation ” and the impossibility of cheat death every single time help to rig up the death of Kirk ’s best admirer right smart in effect than a scene where Spock babble out about what he ’s go away to do when he retires and goes back to Vulcan . Runner up : I ca n’t believe I left out Roy Batty in Blade Runner , as various commenters have pointed out .
